HSE (Health Safety and Environment)

At Gemirald International Logistics Nigeria Limited we take our responsibility to our owners, customers, staff and the general public very seriously.  To ensure that we are always meeting our own high standards, we follow a clear strategy based upon certified quality management and environmental performance systems.  We are HSE certified and this certification affirms our successful pursuit of high quality and service excellence. It also implies that our management system follows the standard for good environmental management. In other to ensure the safety of both our staff and the properties of our clients, we establish minimum competency levels for employees whose job functions could result in a significant impact on occupational health and safety. we are always equipped with personal protective equipment in other to prevent job hazards such as crush, back and repetitive motion injury. Also, our staff undergo general SMS awareness training as well as OH&S operational control training such as risk assessment protection, electrical safety, hazard communication, fire protection procedure among others.

 

 

DPR (Directorate of Petroleum Resources)
We have been certified by DPR, which is a department that oversees the safety and other regulations that relate to the exportation and importation of the products in to the Nigeria. This certification shows their trust in our company and that we meet all their standards. Their guidelines are strictly followed by our company as they establishes a good practice for a precautionary policy for our company’s impact on the nation. With a DPR certified management system, we go further than just complying with regulations. Our focus will be continuous improvements.

 

 

ANCLA (Association of Nigeria Licensed Customs Agents)
Gemirald International Logistics Nigeria Limited has been certified by the Association of Nigeria Licensed Customs Agents and currently, we act as an agent for an importer or exporter in Customs port and shipment procedure related matters.  This certificate  shows that we have adequate knowledge of extant Nigerian Government guidelines, regulation and imposed control on import and exportable goods which we are in compliance with. also, it shows that we have broader view on transportation medium and advice clients on best and cost effective transport options, mode of packing, carrier, routes and land transit handling to clients door step. We are excellent in (CET) Common External Tariff interpretation And product rate classifications and are in contact with more that 22 other government agencies domiciles in Nigeria ports as well.
